Yes, I know... it has been a LONG time since this party actually occurred. I figured, what the heck, it is the middle of winter and some of us could use a reminder of how much fun we had in the warm sun. (Not to mention I FINALLY got a scanner here at home. <G>)

OK, now think back to a time long ago.... months even, when we were all gathered together in that beautiful town of Chapel Hill, NC.  Can you remember the beautiful weather?  Meeting your friends?  *sigh* makes you want to go back again doesn't it?  Meeting at Scott's townhouse on Friday night for some food and drinks, a good majority of us there joking around having fun. (Can anybody recall the EXACT name of that gas station/convience store we were talking about, was it the "Come and Go"? *wink*)  

Party attendees: Ed Rock, Scott(Sİott), Becki(Beİki), Taka & ???, Rachel(R@chel) & ???, Rob & JC, Kirk, Mary, JD, Lee (Thin Ice <only for Friday night>) Art(Art/TCU/Texas), Alk & ???, and of course, Me, Eric (Deamon) <VBG>

Please, if anybody can remember the names of the people that I have ??? for, let me know, I feel terrible that I can't remember their names. 8-(

Saturday morning started off with a nice long car ride to Becki's parents place out by Wrightsville beach.  From there to the beach itself.   Though the day was a bit overcast, we still had a WONDERFUL time bodysurfing in the ocean and just sitting on the beach, soaking in the rays. 

From the beach that evening back to Becki's parents place where a wonderful bar-b-que waited for us thanks to Becki's parents.  After the wonderful food, we all collapsed in the living room to try and recover from the exciting day.   As all things must, the day came to an end when we returned to Chapel Hill for a good nights sleep.

Sunday was as beautiful a day as Saturday was.  Scott, Becki, and Ed Rock took us all on a walking tour of UNC - Chapel Hill campus.  We all learned a bit of history about Chapel Hill and why the campus was built where it was.  Something about a tree if I remember correctly. <g>   We had lunch was at a great Mexican place and then it was all over.  Everybody said their goodbyes as we packed ourselves into our cars for the long trip home.
