Since so many of you are asking what went on when Rachel visited Cincinnati this weekend, I decided I ought to make up a quick page with a rundown of what we did. This will keep Rachel or myself from getting Carpel-Tunnel syndrome by typing the SAME story out thousands of times. This way, you also get to see some pictures from her visit.

The Visit

Friday
Rachel arrived here at Raymond Walters College around 3:15. After an hour and a half of meeting with my co-workers and everybody on Art's reflector we headed to my place so I could pick up the directions to the restaurant. Upon reaching the restaurant in downtown Cincinnati, we realized we had about 30-45 min before our reservations, so we took a mini-tour of the city. The only stop we made on this tour was to one of Cincinnati's most famous landmarks, Fountain Square. <Picture coming soon>. After ohhing and ahhhing at the fountain, we walked back to the restaurant and had a nice Italian dinner. Our next stop of the evening was the movie theater. On the way, a quick stop was made at The University of Cincinnati for a quick tour. We decided that a funny movie was the way to go so we saw The Birdcage. This was a very funny movie, I recommend seeing it if you get the chance. As we all know, all good things must come to an end. So after the movie, I took Rachel back to her grandparents place, met her mother and brother, and said goodnight.
Saturday
Our original plan for Saturday was to go to Cincinnati's Museum Center and see the OmniMax film The Living Sea with Rachel's mother and brother. This was not the case, it turns out the film was sold out till 4pm. Instead, we went to the Science of Star Trek exhibit that was at the museum. As you can see, we got to meet some of the "visitors" from the Star Trek universe. After going to the museum, we headed to RWC to see if we could find anyone on CU, no such luck... NOBODY was around! We stuck around and surfed the net for a while and then went to dinner. Mmmmm, Skyline Chilli for dinner. Though some would disagree with me, I think it is the best chili around! Following dinner, we went back to my place watched a movie and then hopped onto the 'net. This time we were lucky when we visited the B-Bar, people were actually there!<G> As you can see, things began to get a bit scary when Rachel removed her mask and let us see what she REALLY looked like. Just kidding! We all know that this is MY real face, Rachel is much cuter than that! Not too much longer after this it was time for Rachel to go back to her grandparents place.

Sunday
Well, nothing really exciting today, nor did we have much time to do anything. It was my fault, I got up late. So sue me, I forgot to set my clock ahead. What we did get to do was go out and throw a frisbee around for a while, but all too soon, it was time for Rachel to leave.

Thus ends Rachel's trip to Cincinnati. Anymore questions? I thought so
